This unique property sits in one hundred acres of green pasture and arable farmland where there is abundant wildlife to be seen, such as, pheasant, partridge, rabbit, hare, squirrels, occassional roe deer and many species of wild birds. The cottage is approached along a drive guarded on both sides by a line of mature trees.
The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, that sleep four, enjoy uninterrupted views over miles of beautiful Perthshire countryside; the Strathearn valley and on to the rolling hills beyond. Each season offers an ever changing vista of colours, shades and shadows.
Perthshire, described by Sir Walter Scott as being the most varied and beautiful county, with gentle hills, high mountains, winding rivers and shimmering lochs, is at the heart of Scotland and is uniquely placed as a starting point for visiting and enjoying the rest of Scotland.
Kirktonlees Cottage is located at the centre of this beautiful part of Scotland.
